August 21 Day Challenge


Day 09 is all about the speed for our CYOAs and about the endurance for our rounds. You guys are getting strong and even fiercer than you were before, so I know you have it in you. (And as always... that means completing the rounds with killer form and adjusting and scaling when and where needed.)

You will need a Weighted Household Object today for a couple of the moves. Find a backpack full of books, a free weight, the watermelon you have waiting to be cut... whatever you have, pull it over to your mat and get ready for some sweaty fun. (Adjust when needed.)

Happiness Practice: Release the Anger

Sometimes going full fledge forgivness can be hard and just isn't going to happen right off the bat. Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is let go of the anger just for a moment. Let yourself know that whatever happened or whoever was a jerk or whatever mistake was made it is - for the quick and logical moment - in the past and you are not. You are here and now and an unbelievable human being that isn't letting the weight of that anger settle in.
